When did apparel stop moving forward? About the same time big brands chased away the joy and made being outside a commodity. But it isn’t. At least, not to us. We live in Squamish, where life is still wild, free and fun.
The Guardian Collection is two fingers in the wind to giving a damn what anyone else thinks. It’s rope bridges, not roll calls – two steps back and a giant leap forward toward bleeding-edge innovation, hyper-agility and outsize speed.
Our view from the garage
Guardian breaks out of a single lane and takes a fresh look at what mountain-wide, multi-disciplinary outerwear can do when given free rein to play at the extreme end of athleticism. To bring it to life, we took the same scrappy-maker mentality that helped us build Arc’teryx into a household name. And the same garage, cutting fabric, testing ideas and sending our athletes to the mountains on our doorstep to see what they could do.
If they stayed out past dinner, we were happy.
