Men's Foundation Bib Short - Men's Mountain Bike Bib Short

Products that blend performance fabrics with highly articulated patterns to create a close-fit that feels like an extension of your body. Skin Fit apparel improves aerodynamics, moisture management and thermal efficiency.

Skin Fit

The chamois are super comfy and are nice and cool without sacrificing the padding, however the mesh material does feel very fragile, so you do need to be a bit careful putting them on. They're so good that I've now got 3 pairs!

Being a tall guy, I struggled to find a bib that would fit me well anatomically. Guys at 7Mesh really pulled it off here! You kinda forgot you're even wearing it. I do not normally review stuff, but this, I recommend.

Excellent fit

Excellent foundation bibs. Very comfortable. I can't comment on the pockets as I don't use them, but all else is spot-on.

Excellent. I wouldn't change a thing

These shorts are so comfy, and breathe well too. When combined with the Slab short I feel very free to move on the bike. The chamois is very short at the front - a friend who has the same says they are not suitable for drop bars resultantly.

The pockets are the only point I'd suggest need work. They're big, and more durable than other storage bibs I've had, however are a bit too stretchy to store a water bottle/similarly heavy items. I'd not put anything I'm worried of losing in there either.

Unfortunately combined with the single pocket on the Slab (understand the reason for this) this is quite irritating. I'd like to not store my phone and car keys in the same pocket!

A small, zipped 'valuables' pocket would be great - this is one thing that other bibs I've tried have done better. This could also store a lift pass etc.

Great bibs but could be improved

The Foundation bib shorts perform as advertised. They are comfortable, fit well and run fairly cool under a pair of baggy shorts for mountain bike / gravel riding. First used them on a 37 degree Okanagan day and they made the ride bearable.

Great summer kit

Found these at the thrift store for a couple of bucks. Took them home washed them, and did a 325km gravel race in them. Only took 200 km for the saddle sores to start, so thar was nice.

I really appreciate the way the seams are sewn "inside out" in critical areas. Low back pockets means I can carry more stuff when not using a jersey.

Best Ever

The bib shorts fit spot on. They were very comfortable and very airy in the summer heat. The pocket on the back can be a little difficult to reach if you do not have good shoulder mobility

The Men's Foundation bib short is a vital piece of my summer biking kit. This bib stays cool during the hot summer days we experience here on the South Coast of B.C. The bib straps fit perfect and the chamois is of the most comfortable I have ever worn. Multiple hours in the saddle in the hot sun are no problem when wearing these bib shorts. Best of all, they are nice and light and pair perfectly with my Slab shorts. Once again, a 5 star piece of riding kit from 7mesh!

These bibs are the next level. I tend to overheat a lot during this hot days on bike, but these help me with heat management and they are super comfy. Fit true size.

Chamois is pretty nice but straps are awful, too narrow and tend to bunch up which irritates. Straps are made of same mesh material as the rest of bib and while it breathes well, it doesn't hold shape or offer the stretch of normal bib straps. 

Material is airy and keeps you cooler under baggies than typical roadie bibs but straps make it a no go and wouldn't purchase again. Too bad as i like the fit and many other aspects but bad straps are a dealbreaker. Women's version has different straps that are much better, don't know why they don't use the same ones on the men's version!

Chamois is pretty nice but

Perfect for layering or a more laidback vibe, Relaxed Fit products combine articulated patterns with an eased shape that works on or off the bike.
