A mid-height collar with a soft fleece inner feels good against the skin, complemented by a fleeced chin guard and smooth-running front zipper. An elastic hem with a silicone gripper keeps the jersey sharp when sprinting for signs. To the rear, Anything Pockets provide plenty of space for snacks and supplies, while a reflective logo on the rear pocket offers a measure of low-light visibility.

Men's Tantalus Jersey LS - Men's Road Riding Jersey Long Sleeve

I like the Tantalus Jersey LS best when it's below 8 degrees Celsius. I wear just a thin baselayer and a wind vest for the descents.

Great piece

Perfect weight jersey for those single digit rides where a full jacket is too much but a vest doesn’t cut it. Fit is as described, recommend it for road and gravel.

Tantalus Jersey delivers! RD

All the benefits of an outerlayer with the bonus of a jersey. Great for fall rides when things get cool. Would size up.

Perfect fall jersey

Just got the tantalus jersey and went for a road ride on a windy, 6 degree day. The jersey material is a magical combination of light fleece and wind resistance that still breathes amazingly. I rode without anything underneath and was surprisingly warm without being too hot. The perfect combo of wind resistance and breathability! The fit is fantastic (I’m 6’1” and 200 lbs and wear an XL). It’s a tight next to skin fit that is perfectly cut when you’re in a riding position…. Feels awkward when you’re standing up straight to try on but once you’re riding the cut makes perfect sense. Absolutely my favourite shoulder season jersey!!!

Magical fabric!

The jersey performs really well in mild conditions. For me it was slightly tighter than expected (noticeably tighter than the same size Seton), and is fine with empty pockets just a bit snug with stuff in the pockets. 
The flaw? The damn label! Not only is it a horrible scratchy material but it’s right on the hip area and can’t be cleanly removed without destroying the stitching. It’s the kind of design flaw I’d expect on a fast fashion £2 t-shirt, it’s unacceptable on this sort of garment

Good but one annoying flaw

Jersey does exactly what it claims to do. It breathes when it gets steamy (inside) and keeps the wind out. Temperaturewise I consider it best suitable in a range from 8-13 degrees Celsius. Fit is on the looser side. After consulting with 7Mesh Customer Service (thank you Cory Ostertag) I went with the smaller size. Highly recommended.

Amazing garment

I have a few 7mesh pieces and am a fan of them, this is no different.

Started a ride at 7C and finished at 18C. Comfortable the entire time. Materials feel great, and ventilate well. Appreciate the bright colour for fall riding.

Note on sizing as I always struggle decide on S vs M. I went with Medium and I think I could have gotten away with Small; but the Medium isn't crazy large, but if you are looking for less bulk, then go Small if you're on the fence I think. I wear a S in the merino long sleeves for reference and those fit amazing.

Solid

Had the Seton expecting to wear on the spring when temperature range is high, but too warm, with the Tantalus I start a bit cold but as you ride your temperature rises and the air exchange is great. Feeling warm without over heating. great jersey

Amazing for early spring

I've been searching for the ideal shoulder season LS jersey for Road and Gravel rides, and I think I've found it. The Tantalus has surprised me with the range of temp this jersey is comfortable in, and I keep reaching into my gear closet to grab it.The new WTV 200 fabric keeps me comfortable in the diverse temps, fits like a glove, and is just the right amount of breathability for fall/spring riding.

I've been searching for the ideal 5 - 15 degree LS jersey for Road and Gravel rides, and I think I've found it. 

I have a Seton Jersey that uses the WTV 300 fabric, it has been a great middle of winter solution. I wanted something for fall/spring riding, that I could wear stand alone or as a mid-layer piece and I was curious about the new WTV 200 fabric. The Tantalus has surprised me with the range of temp this jersey is comfortable in, and I keep reaching into my gear closet to grab it.

I'm 5'10 and 190lbs and the fit is spot on.
