The Explore Collection was born from listening closely to the people we’ve always built products for. Adventurers and summit pushers who weren’t content to stay in one lane—who finished the ride and kept going on foot, who packed light and stayed out longer, who chased ridgelines, bootpacked couloirs, and linked seasons instead of disciplines. They were already finding their own way through the landscape, and they needed gear that could keep up.
Cycling has always been the proving ground for us. A discipline defined by constant transitions, where effort and conditions swing without warning—sweating on the climb, freezing on the descent, numb fingers, hot heads. You’re either hauling the bike or it’s hauling you. Pushing a little further than planned just to see what happens. Too fast, too slow, too sideways, too much? Never. Because if you push it just far enough, that’s when the magic happens. Where you find your flow. And we’ve never been about holding back. So why should your kit?
What?
The Explore collection is outdoor apparel informed by all that cycling has taught us, to support and enable any shade of adventure. No matter your course of action. Consisting of pieces that have always been designed to continue working once the ride has finished, apparel that we created with multi sport in mind, with much more to come.
Empowering you to go further and for longer. To blur the lines and bend the rules. Uncomfortable in the right way, which is a special version of fun. Never limited because of what you’re wearing — instead, encouraged to find out what happens when you’re so confident in your setup, so comfortable in your kit, that you’ll go ridges beyond what you first intended, bootpack that couloir after all, and ride on, friend, ride on.
Why?
In a time where much of the industry seems to be creating apparel for the high street rather than the alpine, we saw an opportunity to keep moving in the other direction. To take everything we’ve learned over decades in business—from our founders’ time at Arc’teryx to years of refinement on the bike—and apply it towards continuing to create products that are truly exceptional. Ones that push the envelope when it comes to advanced fabrics, purposeful fit, and a technical precision that supports the curiosity, creativity, and stubborn perseverance that we have to push forward in the face of whatever terrain lies ahead.
So we go. Early mornings and long days. Into the storm, into the heat, from first light to well after dark. We support the method and the madness, no matter how you choose to move—by foot, on skis, or whatever gets you to the peak.
