The short sleeve Ashlu jersey is one of our most popular styles, so when we started thinking about making a lightweight long sleeve for road and fast gravel riding, it made perfect sense to adapt this proven all-terrain performer.  

The Ashlu Long Sleeve inherits the great fit and feature set from its shorter length stablemate but adds articulated full sleeves. A fabric blend of merino wool and nylon helps Ashlu deliver the thermoregulation and antibacterial properties that make this natural fibre so popular, with the strength and durability of a non-wool jersey.  A full-front zipper handles closing duties to the front, while to the rear, five generous ‘Anything’ pockets provide plenty of space for snacks and supplies.

Men's Ashlu Merino Jersey LS -  Men's Long Sleeve Merino-blend Road Bike Jersey

I’ve been riding with the Ashlu Merino LS for a while now, and it’s an absolute pleasure to wear. The fabric feels incredibly comfortable against the skin, and the overall fit is great. The sleeves are a bit on the loose side, so they can flutter slightly in the wind, but it’s not a dealbreaker.
What really stands out is its versatility. I’ve used it in temperatures ranging from 7°C to 27°C, and it performs exceptionally well, especially when conditions change quickly in the mountains. It’s breathable yet warm when needed, making it perfect for long rides in variable weather.
One tip: if you’re riding in the rain, make sure the sleeves stay tucked under your rain jacket. Since it’s wool, it will absorb water, and you don’t want your arms getting soaked.
Overall, this jersey is a fantastic piece of kit for anyone looking for comfort and adaptability on the bike. Highly recommended!

I thought my short sleeve Ashlu was my favorite jersey, move over SS, the Long Sleeve version is even more spectacular. I'm 1. 83 meters tall, with 111 cm chest, and 84cm waist, this fits really nice. Tight in body, little lose on longer sleeve length. Could be tighter on arms, but I think you'd loose the airy effect. Body is tight on top, little looser low, but still good with my little extra around middle. I'm mid 50's and I purchased size large in dark chocolate. Here's why this jersey is so awesome!! Comfortable at 7C and comfortable at 18 in the sun. Great for not needing sunscreen. Wore on race with buff over neck, skipped sunscreen for 6 hour race, hands got burned (no gloves) I was perfect temp all day. It's long enough you can reach into back pockets easily, got the 5-anything, you can zip/unzip front one handed on bike. the sleeves are pretty long in biking position, fully cover watch and come down onto wrist. I wash in cold, then out of washer, PULL the sleeves and the body, then hang dry for a few hours in garage. it's holding up well, been laundered about 6 times from purchase, still holds shape, still fits really well, not faded. I can't imagine what they could have done to make nicer. Maybe even thinner wool, but that's probably not possible as the lightweight supple fabric used is super airy and almost see thru in light. I would recommend this product to anyone in Northern hemisphere whom ride at temps below 21 down to about 7 without underlayer, you can drop to maybe 3 to 4 with an extra underlayer. It's pretty "airy".

Merino Jersey Long Sleeve Mens Large Dark Chocolate

I was looking for a jersey I could use for early spring rides when the temperatures are still a little cool in the morning. This jersey works great used as a base layer with a vest over top. No need to fumble around for arm warmers. Even as the temperature rose throughout the ride the jersey was breathable and comfortable. Nice amount of storage in the pockets as per all 7mesh jerseys.

Comfortable, breathable, and light

When I started riding bikes in the early ‘00s, clothing was all flash and no function. 7Mesh have changed all of that. The materials are best-in-class and genuinely considered. In the case of this jersey, the fit is true to the size guide, the design features (rear pockets, silicon gripper hem, merino blend non-smelling fabric etc.) are all amazing, and the overall result is a product that makes riding that much better. Cyclists have a tendency to focus on their bikes but I strongly feel that the biggest improvements to my riding experience lately have been soft-goods updates and 7Mesh are the ones making the best kit. Thanks guys

Simply the best

I get tired of arm warmers, when you can ride the long sleeve for the entire ride it is nice to just pair it with a vest to remove later. Does run a little loser, I almost think you could size down if on the cusp.

Comfortable

At first this jersey may seem a little bit pricey, but I can honestly share that this is by far the best cycling jersey that I’ve ever owned. I have recently rode my bike under 31° temperature and I was totally comfortable !!! even if the jersey is black. And this past weekend I’ve also rode my bike under pouring rain and it was also super comfortable. I highly recommend that you try it out for yourself. You won’t be disappointed. From my perspective, it is totally worth the money that I’ve invested and I highly recommend that you try it out for yourself. The fabric is simply amazing. I was addressing versatility in the subject of this review because no matter what the temperature is a little bit cold, extremely hot and worst case if you get caught in the rain, you are in business with this jersey. It has become the standard to me.

Amazing quality and versatility

I’m currently riding the tour divide and I’ve been wearing this LS jersey for a week straight. Gross, but it still feels great with minimal stink. Keeps the chill off in the morning and isn’t too hot for 20c afternoons. Awesome product.

Divide tested

Hard to go wrong putting this on your skin. Sleeves push up easy on the hottest day; by itself most summer days, add a vest or shell for the chill, stash in the pocket when you climb. And if it’s really cold, layer with the Callahan jersey and Rebellion shell.

Not sure? Wear this

I have a Callaghan jersey, which I love, but it's too warm for deep summer. This one’s better in every way. It’s a little short to cover my belly off the bike, but it does fit perfectly on the bike. Merino keeps the sun off my skin, and keeps me warm in light rain, as well as making me less smelly when I arrive.
