Only 34% merino, odd fit for me
This jersey was sadly not quite what I expected: it’s a thick fabric with fuzzy backing, and I belatedly noticed it’s only 34% merino—which it turns out is fairly common with other brands’ “merino” long sleeve jerseys too, but still rather misleading… I wanted a merino jersey to keep me warm without overheating as much, and from trying this jersey on, I’m not convinced it would do that. So this might be good if you want a very warm jersey, but it’s not for me.
Another odd thing is that the cut of this jersey is a good bit looser compared to the short sleeve trim fit jerseys I tried (Ashlu and Horizon). My measurements are about 34/30/40, so S chest/M hips, and I’m short waisted. The short sleeve jerseys in medium fit well enough, but the medium in this jersey was much looser in the upper body. The bulk of the anything pocket plus the thicker fabric also made the fit around the bottom awkward when it starts riding up. If I sized down it would probably be too tight in the hips and ride up more.
The final thing that I think should be better for such an expensive jersey is that it needs a full length flap behind the zipper (there’s only a flap right by the neck). Trying the jersey on without a base layer, the zipper felt noticeably cold on my skin, which I imagine would be even worse while riding in the cold.

Need one in every colour!
I can’t believe I waited so long to get this jersey! It is very comfortable, functional, beautiful and warm!! I want one in every colour now. On the sizing chart it said I was a medium but I was a small actually so I had to return the m and get the small. My athletic build of 5’7”, 138lbs, 34-30-35 has me in between sizing. Usually small bottom and medium tops but this is definitely a small for me. Love it so much.

Warm and cozy
I live in Victoria, BC and struggle to stay warm on wet winter rides. This jersey is super versatile. It wicks sweat beautifully and stays dry. For very chilly rides (-1 to 3 degrees C) you can add another underlayer and a beefier windbreaker. For rides from 3-7, you can do a light windbreaker, and upwards of that I'll pair it with a vest or even just use it on its own. For gravel/forest rides, where there's not as much rider-created wind due to slower speeds, it's great on its own in milder temps. Love it!
