Skin Fit

I've been on a quest for 3 years for a pair of shorts that work for me. I've tried different manufacturers to no avail. My wish list included no sausage legs, not too long (I'm 4'11") and not binding at the waist. My local bike shop (Ted's Bicycle Studio in PEI) recommended I check out 7 Mesh. First I tried the WK2 shorts in large (nice chamois but too big) and then I tried them in medium (again nice chamois but they were snug on my belly rolled down in front). I wasn't sure about bib shorts but happy to report I found my unicorn! I love my WK3 shorts and will be ordering a 2nd in the Cargo version. The straps are barely there (soft and stretchy) the way the chamois and fabric are detached is great, no sausage legs and no binding in the midsection. I'm training for an IM and these will be my go-to shorts! Highly recommend.

I have found my "Unicorn"!

I have resisted buying bibshorts as I always thought I would find the shoulder straps and high waist uncomfortable and annoying. After reading all the positive reviews for these shorts and armed with a 15% off discount, I took the plunge. I wore them for a long indoor trainer session today and wow, I am totally sold. So comfortable and supportive. They felt quite snug going and I had a moment of concern that they were too tight but once you get in the saddle and start riding they feel perfect. I am 5’3” 120lbs with a short torso, long legs and rounder hips. Size medium fits absolutely perfect. I will definitely be buying another pair of these for my long rides and bikepacking adventures. Give them a try, you won’t be disappointed.

Awesome bibshorts

My absolute favorite bibs of all time!
I bought a medium, I'm pear shaped, 5'4 with shorter legs and a longer torso.. which creates many, many problems with other brands of bibs (the straps dig in, or theyre too long or tight in the legs, etc.) Not so with these! These straps are so stretchy and soft, I dont even know theyre there. The fabric on the rest of the shorts is nice and stretchy yet compressive enough to hold everything in place, and is not see through. The legs never ride up or dig in and the chamois is perfection. Ah I am in love!! Great job 7mesh!!!

If I could give these 20 stars I would!

I initially bought the cargo version last summer (which I quickly fell very in love with) and grabbed another pair. The chamois is very comfortable, and you cannot beat the "pull down to pee" permissive straps. The legs have an adhesive type band to keep them in place, which for once is not something that digs into my legs. Love how sleek they are as well.

Second pair!

My new go-to short. Floating chamois design stays put. No seams to chafe along the chamois edge, it’s somehow embedded in the fabric. The shoulder straps are super flexible and long torso friendly. I was worried the bib would have a gap between jersey and front of bib, but my longer jerseys are long enough. 
Fabric is gorgeous. Runs on smaller side. I’m 5’7, 140lbs and got a large. I’m typically a medium bib across all brands, sometimes a small. I was in-between sizes. Could wear a medium in these, but I definitely need a large in the cargo version. Drop seat works as promised. Jury still out on color. For the comfort I don’t care if my backside looks like a giant beet. Planning to get some in black and save these for under baggies, tights, and pants.

I liked these shorts so much that I just bought a 2nd pair. Would absolutely recommend these!
Pros: The chammy is comfortable and doesn't pack out too much over time. The minimal seams / construction is super comfortable and flattering. Strap placement is great for a quick bathroom stop without fully undressing. I was initially concerned about the hem rolling or bagging out over time, but haven't had any issues there.
Cons: The shorts were very hard to pull on over my hips/bum the first few times and I was worried I might rip them. They fit great now that they're worn in a little.

Look good, feel good

I started with the cargo version 3 years ago, bought primarily for shorter gravel riding. I never tried them on long road rides. But due to chafing on other brand, I tried them for my long road ride and wow!! I bought the non cargo version to round out my choices. Now 7 Mesh bibs are my go to for any and all rides. The comfort of the chamois is unmatched; no seams, no rubbing in tender areas. This version doesn’t have the back pockets that the cargo bibs have, so there is less material on your back which is a good thing on hot summer days. I’m definitely a fan.

Comfortable ++

135 lbs and 168 cm and got size MEDIUM which fits perfectly!

The pad is not very thick or dense so it's best for short and medium length rides. The bibs themselves are designed perfectly and they are super comfortable all around.

very comfy!

I have a black pair since 2 years and restocked with blue now. They are my go-to-bibs for long distance riding, when you have multiple pee-stops and can’t be bothered to undress fully. Wore them 9 days in a row with handwash every evening. Perfect chamois! Also love the fact, that there is no band on the legs, the compression is tight, but doesn’t give you sausage-legs. Also tried the Cargo, but for me the pockets cut into the legs, so I prefer this model.

fantastic bibs, ultracycling approved

I’m a tall girl—5’10. I want to love bibs. I’ve tried 7 different brands. This one is it. Even the highly touted V brand bibs that everybody loves…still can’t drop short them without unnerving ripping sounds. 7mesh bibs have long and stretchy enough shoulder straps that I can use the bibs as they were intended. Finally! Not to mention the fit and the chamois and the materials…all are top notch, and I’ll be ordering more. (15 hours in them last weekend with no issues!)
