An outer layer that can rise to the occasion is essential on the trail. With fully-taped 3-layer weather-protective Airmap on the body, and 2-layer Airmap at the rear side panels, hem and cuffs, the Cache Anorak resists the rain, shields you from the wind and keeps you fresh when you’re working hard. At the front, a 1/2 zipper with a lightweight chin guard meets a deep kangaroo pocket with dual zippered hand pockets. An additional zippered front pocket does double duty as a stow bag for the anorak, with clips to attach to your bike.

Built with a relaxed, articulated fit that works on and off the bike, the Cache Anorak benefits from an elastic drawcord hem and half-elastic sleeve cuffs for a dialled fit and easy access with gloves. Reflective 7mesh logos and a reflective front pocket interior, visible when packed, complete the piece.

Men's Cache Anorak - Men's Trail Riding Hooded Jacket

Perfect for layering or a more laidback vibe, Relaxed Fit products combine articulated patterns with an eased shape that works on or off the bike.

Relaxed Fit

Wanted one of these ever since the grit pants turns out to be my favorite 7Mesh item. The anorak fits pretty well but the arms are just too tight for elbow pads. Mine are TLD Raid, not anything bulky for bike park. Huge bummer for using this for regular trail rides. The stash system works brilliantly as usual though.

No room for elbow pads

Really well made and great for Autumn rides where the weather is a bit of everything! Not fully waterproof (nor does it claim to be), but much more breathable and comfortable than a regular hardshell jacket. Will wear a lot!

Excellent

I got the purple version of this jacket I never want to be scene crying in that purple rain.
...and this jacket isn't going to let that happen!
Color choice is personal, but dryness choice is universal, or something like that. This keeps me dry out here in Maritimes where spring is tumultuous and temperamental. The winds, the rain, the sleet, all attack this jacket, but the jacket defends with unabated vigor. I even used it fatbiking in subzero temps with a chilco underneath. Chef's kiss to that experience too. 
The fit is what you'd expect from 7mesh, perfect. I'm 188cm and 88kg, with a hybrid of athletic yet mostly dad bod build and the large is what I like. Not too baggy for graveling and commuting, and then not too tight and seductive for MTB use. Also nice enough for groceries and date nites. 
I have a few different 7mesh manteaus and I think this one is going to get the most use based on the past 6 weeks.

As if Prince and Charlie Murphy rode bikes instead of balling

Living in the PNW where we experience 7 types of weather in a single day, this layer is a go to for me. The fabric is super comfortable against the skin, breaths well and just keeps you outside for longer than you'd expect. Oh, and its got big style points in my book. Really excited to see more products like this coming out of 7mesh.

The airmap technology is little piece of treasure. I first got it last fall and was surprised by the upgrade. I've been using 7mesh gear for years, so I wasn't expecting such a big improvement in comfort. The big thing is not having to layer and delayer all the time on fall rides, you can just keep the Cache Anorak on the whole time and stay comfortable.

Treasure Map

This is my go-to layer for those spring, fall, and alpine riding days with a high moisture content and a chill to the air (i.e. the dream days!). Comfortable and cozy, with a nice stretch and just the right amount of water resistance while maintaining breathability. The stash system is a great option when it heats up mid ride.

Full comfort in chilly and wet conditions

I would highly recommend Airmap designed apparels for cycling. Their breathable & water resistant at the same time comfy. Streachability is the best when it comes to riding tech trails. Also has a stash system which is a big plus when its getting to warm/hot. This is now my go to jackets when riding in wet conditions.

Jacket for wet conditions?

I love this garm. When it's not raining consistently but the sun isn't shining either, this is all you'll need. As soon as you get this in your hands the quality shines through. Kind of like when first use any Apple product... It just feels solid, well thought out and professional. The fit is amazing and the Airmap tech really does thermoregulate better than any other layer like it. Style wise, this really hits the mark too.

The all rounder / do it all outer layer

I live in CO and was recently on long wet fall riding trip through BC and the PNW. I was recommended the new 7mesh Airmap gear and couldn’t be happier with the Cache Anorak. My first ride with it was a morning lap just over freezing with a fresh dusting of snow and it kept me toasty but not sweaty (over a merino base layer). Love the styling, will wear it on and off the bike. Impressed with the material/quality.
