The Farside is a trim fit, 4-way stretch summer short built for bikepacking, gravel and all-road adventures. Made with a soft double-weave face for durability and a looped yarn at the back, the Farside wicks fast and won’t feel clingy, no matter how high the temperature climbs. For trail-side stops and evenings by the campfire, you’ll find easy-in dual side hand pockets, and to the right and slightly to the rear, an extra zippered pocket to stow your smartphone, light snacks, or even a folded map. Whether you need extra space or like to keep the essentials close at hand, the position of the zippered pocket allows for unrestricted pedaling, and a barely-there feeling even over the most demanding trails.

Clean finish laminated hems ensure smooth motion with every stroke, while reinforced crotch seams better resist the rough and tumble of the trail. Reflective details and a zippered fly complete the short.

Men's Farside Shorts - Men's Bikepacking & All-Road Bike Shorts

Designed to sit slightly off the body, Trim Fit products provide some room for light layering and feature mechanical (fabric) stretch or elastane, combined with articulated patterns.

Trim Fit

One pair was not enough awesome for my body so I eventually bought a second! Perfect for commuting on and off the saddle. So versatile, perhaps I'll spring for a third pair. You can never have too much awesome on down there ;-)

Like a warm, stylish, colourful hug below the waist.

At 6'-4" (193cm) and 99kg (218lbs) with a 36" inseam, I find it very difficult to find well fitting cycling clothes. These shorts fit really well in an XL size and true to the website sizing. They are very light so will work really well in the hot and humid southern Ontario summers. The adjustable waist tweaks the fit just perfectly. They work really well with the Foundation Bike Boxer Brief.

Just What I Need

Outstanding product. The fit was exactly as advertised. I am a short guy, 5ft 3 in and 126 lbs. with a 29 in waist and the small was a perfect fit. Love the adjustable waist tabs. The pockets are all you need and nothing you don’t. Highly recommend this short.

Far side shorts

Just the right length for on or off the bike adventures. Like all my 7mesh attire, the high quality and awesome design are evident. These things are feather light but tough too. If you like a bit more coverage to lessen knee pas gap, shoot for the long version. I have both types and neither have let me down!

The Multitool of shorts

I use this shortly a lot during my gravel rides and they are PERFECT. Not small, not big. The adjustments works perfectly. Breathable, strechy material, light. They are awesome!

Gravel riding shorts

I've ridden plenty of different shorts from different brands over the years and these are the ones I have been most pleased with. Big fan of the trim fit, the pockets give me all the room for phone, lift pass, gloves/cereal bar, and they appear to be standing the test of time brilliantly as I have worn them countless times for the past 6 months.

My go-to shorts

I bought my first pair on sale and after my first ride I ordered a second. They are currently my favourite over short for mountain and gravel.

I bought two pairs for riding my gravel bike. They're great for on and off of the bike. The "trim fit" is exactly how the product is described and the material is nice and light. I recommend using the size chart, as I found it to be helpful.

Great for gravel riding. Great lightweight material ; more snug on your cojones because of design.. but I’ve worn them on mtn bike too.
