Relaxed Fit

Great biking jacket that can be used on the road, trails and even every day! I live in a very humid are in the North of Quebec and this jacket not only keeps you dry but also protects you from high winds. Love the fit and fabric's feeling. I'm 5'9" and 189lbs and Large fits me pretty well (I'm usually M but the cut is fitted and felt tight at shoulders and waist).
Really recommend it as an laternative to typical bike rain jackets (higher price but worth the money when on sale).

Great shell Jacket

I've been looking for a Goretex jacket for everyday and general outdoor use. I was looking at a different brand but didn't really push through with my purchase until I discovered 7mesh. With my recent interest in biking, their jackets seemed like a perfect fit.

I pulled the trigger on the Revelation jacket (mainly because it was on sale, but still quite expensive) and I've been using it whenever there's a rain forecast.

The things I liked are: 
1. Ventilation - Pit zips and vents in the arm are really useful during a bike ride.
2. Fit - it's sleek without being too baggy and you can fit a midlayer or just a shirt underneath
3. Removable hood - convenient if it's not raining and for the #aero gains
4. Weight - it's light but still feels sturdy

The not so (but not a dealbreaker):
1. Hood - I wish it provided more coverage around the sides of my face. It seems designed more for helmet use, which looks a bit odd (imo) when worn without one. It would be great if they offered a separate hood option with wider coverage for everyday use.
2. Color - I wanted another color aside from black and I realized black was ideal for my first Goretex Pro jacket. I hope they will offer more color options in the future.

At long last!

This is my first jacket made for bicycling and I’m just amazed. It can take a beating, keeps me dry and it is so nice to be able to regulate the ventilation precisely. The tiny strings are unfortunately hard to get hold of. So opening a zipper takes some practice. But that is a minor gripe on a jacket that is so well done that you don’t feel that you wear it.

Fantastic jacket!

I am very satisfied with the Revelation jacket. The sizing is perfect and I am impressed with the craftsmanship. Only small improvement would be the resizing cord at the waist, the current system could be better.

Great Jacket

I'm a big fan of Gore-Tex Pro for durable waterproofness and bought this with the expectation that, living in Vancouver BC, I'd use the jacket a lot. However more often than not I find myself grabbing my Cypress Hybrid jacket since it is more comfortable to wear and never seems to overheat. I still love my Revelation, but it's a little overbuilt even for extreme trips (I've crossed the Himalayas on bike a few times). Perhaps a lighter denier fabric is needed for the next revamp.

Near perfection

I bought this Jacket from a German reseller. I really love everything with this jacket. But one thing which is really bothering me is the buttons for the hood. I already got two fails with the buttons and one of them always broke off. I think a zip would be more smart. I used it always with care but it happens also with the second replacement Jacket. That unfortunately really sucks. The Jacket itself it totally amazing and perfect but without a working hood it’s only half the fun :) I am not sure if I take another replacement or wait until that problem is solved.

Perfect Jacket with one Major Problem (that’s why only 3 stars)

I have used the Oro jacket for cycling for 2 years. It's perfect for that purpose, but I needed a Gore-Tex jacket with more room and mobility for hiking. The Revelation is ideal: there is room for layers beneath. The hood design (under the helmet works well for over the hat/headband) is nice and snug. It's perfectly rain-proof. It's also light and packable for when the rain stops. I wish it had an inside breast pocket. I haven't had it long, but it looks well-constructed and I expect durability to be good.

Great mid-weight jacket for cycling and hiking

I was thinking about this (expensive) jacket for such a long time - and now I am in Love! 
I had several long rides in all crazy weather conditions. 5°C and 5 hours of heavy rain, wind and mud. Worked perfectely for this heavy conditions. Finally riding with a relaxed neck because no rain entering. I really like the tight hood and the peak and its perfect shape and material. With that I even was able to keep my glasses on in spite of hours of rain.
I know that Goretex says that the membranes work best without additional zippers for ventilation, but staying on the bike the whole day and night with a huge temperature range I don't want to miss them. 
The only critic: why isn't there a woman's cut? With Woman's sizes I am between M and L. With this mens Jacket XS works quite good. The width of the shoulders is relaxed but not too bulky, waist very good, only at the bottom it is a tiny little bit tight. It works very good though - for some reason it doesn't move up at all. 
Overall I am very happy with the decision.

I'm in Love!

Having now worn my Revelation jacket in just about every brutal weather condition, I'll say it's the best jacket I've ever had. From cold, windy days bikepacking in the high Sonoran Desert of AZ to an early spring tour from WA to CA during snow storms, rain, hail and cold winds, it worked every time. For that last trip I pretty much didn't take it off for almost 4 weeks straight. Medium size allows me to have a puffy underneath when needed. The cuffs are a tad small, but I use Gossamer Gear rain mitts over them so it worked well. The only issue I've had is the left side snap for the hood, which would come undone frequently. Am not sure how to address that, but a more burly snap would help. I do like having the hood under my helmet and it allowed good visibility and protection. Easily my favorite piece of kit!

It is the best design and marvelous rain jacket I have ever seen! It's a masterpiece of ingeniousity. It keeps me dry and ecstatic!
