Great jersey
Fabric is soft and has a nice amount of stretch to it. The pockets are not stretchy wool which is really nice - no sagging. Zippered pockets are a nice touch.

Cool in the summer, warm in the winter
I have been using merino wool clothing for several years now, and have come to swear by it. However, many products will claim to be merino, but in reality contain much less than 50% of the wool. Thankfully, that is not the case for this jersey. Containing over 80% merino wool makes this a true wool jersey. You can't deny the ultra softness when putting it on. Long gone are the days of irritation from scratchy polyester blends or stitching.
As for the fit, I followed the size chart and it put me at the end of the small category. But I was able to try a small on at my LBS, and it had very tight areas around my shoulders and armpits. I have an athletic build, but my overly broad shoulders cause some sizing issues with different brands. However, the medium fits me well, and the shoulder issue is gone.
If I could make one improvement, I would adjust the shape to be a bit more skin fitting, but this is a long shot as merino wool will stretch, especially in active wear.
For reference, I am 5'7", 140lbs. (long arms affected my size choice of medium).

Great jersey, slight variance from previous year
I wear Merino in most situations off-bike and it makes particular sense for cycling given its wicking ability and odour control and the cut on these is great (as it is on my LS Callaghan). I have two successive years of Ashlu jersey, one from the Last Hunt and one from 7Mesh directly. I am pretty certain that the jersey has become slightly larger in later iterations (and it wasn't just bad laundering by me). That is a blessing for me because I am carrying some weight and appreciate the extra room but it is not a supertight fit, though it is not a "club fit" either.
