Made for rides that are more about finding your way than crossing the finish line, the Chilco Anorak features our new proprietary thermal insulation WTV 300, an advanced, lightweight loft fabric that dynamically retains or releases heat as you ride. Paired with a woven wind protective outer face fabric, the Chilco Anorak is an exceptionally comfortable second layer that also feels great against the skin.

The cozy structured hood has an elasticated edge and works with or without a helmet. A large dual-zippered pouch leaves plenty of space for a map, compass or selection of snacks. When night falls, front and rear 7mesh reflective logos help you stay seen.

My favourite MTB top for three seasons, great as a single layer over a 
T-shirt or if really cold an extra layer underneath, but mostly not necessary. Waterproof enough, breathability and temperature control is fantastic. Highly recommend !

This thing is the best! So great that I actually have 3 now. I am 6’5” and 225lb and actually wear a large as I found the xl a bit too baggy. Winter or summer this thing seems to keep you at the right temperature no matter what the season is. My wife even just got the women’s version!

Chilco anorak

Just recieved this and must say that I am impressed. Very soft fabric that offers warmth and wind resistance too. I am 186 cm / 110 kg and sixe XL fits me good, it is even a little baggy. Our winters are often -20 degrees and then this will be a midlayer, but I used it with a 7mesh merino layer + 7mesh Gryphon crew and that kept me warm during slow fatbike rides att +0 C temps. This will be my go-to jacket/midlayer for arctic psring/autumn shedding for sure!

First time out on the trails wearing the Chilco, single figure temperatures and I just needed a SS Merino baselayer, incredible temperature management, genuinely impressed!

New fave piece of kit

5° C, wind and drizzle or 15° C and sunshine, still comfortable inside with thin merino baselayer. 187 cm, 70 kg, 90 cm chest, size S fits perfectly.

Awesome!

Just picked up my second Chilco, superbly comfortable. Blocks just enough wind and can be opened at the chest to help cool off after big exertions. Also, surprisingly durable when wrecking in the dirt and rock this spring.

Favorite Hoody

Have ridden in this piece a few times in below 0 (Celsius) weather with a merino baselayer and have been very impressed on how well it's been able to help keep my temperature regulated. The outer fabric cuts wind very well for being an open fabric- but allows just enough through to keep you from overheating too much. The half-zip is enough to dump the excess heat. Awesome product.

Very versatile piece

I am blown away by the performance and functionality of the Chico Anorak!!! This is one of the rare times when a piece of kit actually performs the way the company claims it does. It actually, really, literally is comfortable in a very wide range of temperatures. It's breathable yet wide resistant. I wear it all the time now during fall riding, and it functions amazingly well in the variable conditions of a single ride. Today I rode in 43 degree temps, 11 mph winds with 26mph gusts of wind, and the wind made it feel like 33 degree....the Chilco Anorak was the only jacket I needed for the ride. Perfectly comfortable.
