Cool tights for autumn rides

I was impressed with these tights - they immediately felt like home. The subtle branding and side pockets give them a cool look, and the pockets are actually quite useful - I love that detail. I had no issues with the fit - I don’t have thick legs, and there was no discomfort behind the knees. The chamois is good, and both the materials and fit are excellent. The insulation and breathability are just right for temperatures from 8 to 20°C. I usually ride from the city straight into the mountains, where temperatures gradually drop another 5°C or more at the top - and these tights still feel comfortable in those conditions.

Great base - A few design choices I have yet to get accustomed to

My purchasing decision was mostly based on eco-credantials of the fabric and general ethos of the 7mesh brand. A sweet and nice discount on those bibs at the right time in my research sealed the deal. Pretty happy with that Love at first sight it was not exactly, though. The fabric is very thin and silky, almost satin like. Very soft and smooth on the skin, but thermal properties are not the first notable attributes, I have short bibs that have thickers panels. Optimal temperature range would be 7-15°C I think, which is a touch too light for me. The pockets don't sag and are very lenghty, all good, but the lip needs to be sewn and not just folded in order to not impede their use and retain their form. I will get the sewing machine on them soon. I have a few bibs with an Elastic interface Pad so I knew I'd be sitting on one of the best pads available on the market. The stitching of the leg panels sits proud in the front of your calf and knee, which is really surprising and unique. The overal softness and "thinnes" of the pannels means there's a lot of smal wrinkles here and there. Nothing uncomfortable, but the general look of it is less refined than what I'd like, it is more "club look" then "Sharp-racy look". I'm yet to trim the leg lenght so maybe there something to gain on that front. Overall you feel good in those, albeit not warm, seating comfort is great which is paramount, pockets are very practical, but I'd be keen to try the V2 and see where some design choices are going.

Almost there

I recently took these out on a three hour ride at 8 celcius, the fit and feel was great, and I loved the cargo pockets to shove garbage into. My only complaint was as a previous comment highlighted, that there is a pinch at the back of the knee on the tendon. Will stick to the TK1 for this reason until this is no longer an issue.
