Mission Jersey

97 % of 100
Mission blends exceptional breathability with stellar warmth-to-weight to keep you dry and comfortable, whatever the temperature.

The Mission is one of our most versatile thermal jerseys. It's light, warm and packs down small, yet when riders ask us about it, we often struggle to explain why it's such a capable cold-season layer.

Maybe that's because Mission is most effective when it's releasing excess heat.

When you think about it, venting heat is pretty useful. Pair Mission with a wind or waterproof jacket, and warmth comes easy; the tricky part is getting rid of excess heat after hard efforts. And that's where Mission excels, moving heat and moisture vapor out, to keep you dry and always at the right temperature on the inside.

So that’s Mission - a thermal jersey for those moments when the last thing you need is a thermal jersey.

7mesh Mission Jersey
  1. The 7mesh Mission jersey is a masterclass of understatement. If I had to drastically downsize my cycling wardrobe, the 7mesh Mission Jersey is one of very few items I could never be without.

  2. The 7Mesh Mission Jersey is a really well made, usefully warm Polartec fleece that breathes easily and boasts excellent cut and fit. The full-length zip, long body and snug collar and cuffs are great, but it does feel more baselayer than jersey.

    Ambassador Review/Athlete Pick

This is my favourite top for riding through winter and the shoulder seasons. Seems obvious, but having a nice, thermal layer that actually zips down and has convenient pockets for wallet and phone is perfect. I have used and abused and its still going strong!

    Surprising Warmth

Every time I wear this piece out I am surprised by how warm it keeps me. Can't recommend it enough - perfect mid-layer for the chilly days out.
  3. Cvachi

    great insulator

I ussually run M size, but in this case I went for S. So it is super close fit, which i like. It is easy to layer up with vest or Cypress jacket. It is not windproof, but suprisingly warm, considering how thin it is. Long arms, zippered back pockets. I consider it to be insulator, would hesitate to ...

    Perfect player for under 10°C

This has been my go to layering system so far and will be using it as a single piece. Love the pocket layout and the neck that’s not too tall so when you’re wearing a waterproof jacket on top the zipper is not in the way great piece really like it!

    Back pockets

As a thermal fleece it's amazing¡¡¡¡ But in my opinion the zippered pockets on the back would be better. Open the zips from the back pockets with winter gloves isn't an easy mission.

The best long sleeve jersey for the chilly days.

I was quite skeptical at first as the jersey is quite thin if it is going to bee warm enough. I was wrong, paired with a short sleeve jersey it is a great combo for the chilly days.

    Ideal 3-season Jersey

Was drawn to the Mission because of the material and 7mesh's impeccable fit and finish and fair to say it's lived up to expectations! Perfect for cooler riders on it's own or can be used as base under a hardshell. Medium size fits my 6ft/77kg frame perfectly, just snug enough for the ...

Best fall / winter base layer ever!

In the past I was drawn to merino wool base layers when the weather started to cool down below 10 degrees celsius leading into the fall. That was until I found the Mission jersey. The feeling of the Polartec PowerGrid against your skin is amazing, it feels like it's floating compared to my old ...

    Cold weather baselayer

By far the best base layer for the colder days of the year. Combine it with the Freeflow jacket and there are no more cold days on the bike - or at least, I didn't feel cold in freezing temperatures over the last few rides. Also a nice and soft texture of the fabric. Feels pretty snug to me.

    Athlete Pick

This is not like other base layers I have worn. It does not get soaked and give you the chills when you stop for too long yet it is always warmer than I think. Getting this piece of gear has allowed me to wear less layers yet be just as comfortable out there.

    My favorite 7mesh piece

To my surprise this has become my all time favorite 7mesh piece. When I ordered it I wanted a jersey for when the Callaghan would be too warm, but a short sleeve jersey just a bit too cold. I just wan’t sure that I cared so much for the bubbles look. Am glad that I decided to order it. It looks ...

    Great jersey for cold days

Great jersey for cool 5-10℃ days but will require a vest or something to cut the wind if you’re zipping around on a road bike. At lower speeds on an mtb or cross bike in the forest, the Mission is perfect as-is. The pockets are nice and hold enough for a few hours. You won’t be able to stuff ...
