Love the material, waist could be better
As others have noted, the waist on these pants is more like underwear and less like a pant, and the seam through the middle of the groin is less than ideal. I'd give these 5 stars if they had a yoga style waist and better seams. I'm 5'5" 150# with a small waist, muscular butt and thighs. My measurements are in between a med and large so ordered a med for a tighter fit. The legs fit great, but I definitely need more room around the hip and crotch so returning for a large. I ride without a chamois on both mtn and gravel bikes so I'll be curious to see how the seams feels with riding underwear...

Preferred option for commuting and frequent winter riding
When it comes to winter riding in the Pacific Northwest full legged clothing is a must. There are really two options: winter bib tights or regular bibs with the Hollyburn/Seymour tights. Some worry about tights because of slippage and chafing at the knees. These tights have none of that. My husband and I each have a pair and we have used these throughout the past season. They stay secure on long rides and maintain warmth as good as bib tights. What makes tights a win for me is being able to cycle through my 3-4 pairs of RK1 summer bibs and reuse the tights throughout the commuting week. I do own winter bibs as well but don’t need to wash them nearly as frequently because of my tights. My husband and I love these tights and look forward to wearing them for many future seasons.

Do Yourself a Favour!
I absolutely love these. I use them for everything - they are fantastic on the bike but they are my winter go to for running, hiking and xc skiing. For fat biking I toss them on under the Glidepath Pant and never get cold.
