We built the Cypress Hybrid Vest for cold starts and blowy days. Wear it from the start of the ride, or pull it from a pocket when the wind picks up or a descent beckons.   

The vest features an almost silent GORE-TEX® INFINIUM™ Active front treated with a durable, water-resistant finish. A 4-way stretch woven fabric to the rear creates a trim fit, venting heat during intense efforts to balance your temperature uphill and down.  

Tailored with a smooth-running front zipper, Cypress sports dual zippered side vents that double as pass-through pockets to your jersey. A gripper elastic hem and well-placed reflective details complete the jacket.

Designed to sit slightly off the body, Trim Fit products provide some room for light layering and feature mechanical (fabric) stretch or elastane, combined with articulated patterns.

I was surprised at how light the vest is. Still windproof.
I got this is size medium and it fits perfectly. I'm 190 cm tall and weigh about 77 kg.

I got this vest as a gift last year and I've used it way more than I was expecting. It's use of two materials works so well for what you generally need a vest for, warm on the front, breathable on the back - classic 7Mesh, simple, elegant and effective.

I just wish it had a storage pocket to make it easier to stash, even it it was just an open sleeve you could stuff it in. Folds up crazy small anyway, maybe the wind stopper would get damaged with stuffing it. Either way, once it's on, it's amazing.

I’ve been wearing it every day on my late winter road jonts. I combine it with the Desperado shirt or the Elevate shirt. Sometimes I’ll wear arm warmers too. It works well to block the chill but has 2 massive back vents for when it starts to heat up. 
I first ordered an XS but it was skin tight!
The small is perfect for me to wear over light layers. My size specs are:
5’8”
135lbs
Chest 34”

Essential kit

Wearing this on top of my jersey makes a big difference to warmth. It packs really small so it's easy to carry everywhere too.

Lightweight and warm windproof gilet

It's a great vest as we get into cooler riding - but I was hoping there would be a bit more insulation for keeping core/body warm prior to going to full jacket. Its a solid lightweight vest - easy for rolling up to take off if you need to put it in a pocket or travel with it.

I look like a stuffed sausage in this. I’m a medium in 2 other 7mesh jackets, but I guess not in the “trim” cut. Material feels excellent…will try the large.
