Firts time I ever used this jacket it had paid for itself. It stows super small, snaps dry and gits perfect, even over 4 layers as I had this morning. Never skimp on wet weather gear, especially on the West Coast

The rating for this Jacket is high for a reason. It's light, super breathable and waterproof ! The holes in the back to access our jersey pocket is a nice addition. I also really like the race fit which is amazing for road and gravel !

Bought this right before a
Bought this right before a race and it was worth every dollar. It packs down small enough to very easily fit in a jersey pocket and it kept me dry all day long on an 8ish hour ride.
I liked the jersey pocket access so I didn't have to switch food between jersey and jacket when taking it on and off. And the access po kets kept the rain out. I had a phone. In my pocket and it never got wet.
I used the fit chart to guess size and it ended up fitting well.

really gold standard, already tried
really gold standard, already tried several top class goretex jackets but this one is little bit longer and protecting better the lower part, chest is more tailored designed and it fit much better then other brands (ultra top quality). this is my favourite rain jacket. ultra breathable and zero water in.

This jacket is the best
This jacket is the best I have ever owned. Previously when I was unsure whether to take a jacket or not I often got rained on. Now with the Oro Jacket and how small it packs down to I always take it. It breathes better than any jacket I have owned before and the vent/pocket access is so convenient. If it's remotely overcast I don't leave home without it.

Absolutely worth the cash if
Absolutely worth the cash if you have it. Very light, very versatile. Would like to see a pocket feature and maybe a small light magnet in the back of the jacket so you can flip up the excess material when you are not riding and wear it like a normal jacket.

This shake dry material is amazing,
-Super lightweight. Roll it up and stuff it in a pocket and you won’t even know it’s there.
-Stops raining during a ride? It’s so breathable you just leave it on anyways.

The quality of this jacket
The quality of this jacket is of very high standard, the Gore-Tex Shakedry works incredibly well. Fit is good, minimal flapping in a headwind. I struggle to use the zip when on the bike.

I have never bought a
I have never bought a piece from 7mesh and thought "well that wasn't worth it!". Call me a fan, but this jacket has solved so many problems for me. The big one is that I used to get really sweaty under waterproof layers; the Oro has overlapping vents so you never feel like you're wearing a clammy rubber glove. I keep this stowed in a tool-bottle that doesn't leave my bike. Living in the PNW it rains without warning and this negates that nagging worry. Fit is bike specific and quite tight. Can't really be worn over anything more than a jersey unless you size up and the arms are cut assuming you're operating handlebars.
