Callaghan Merino Jersey

99 % of 100
New Colours
Made for rides that start and stay cool, the Callaghan Merino Jersey is our luxuriously comfortable, mid-weight, 3-season long sleeve jersey.

Worn on its own, with a base layer, or as a mid-layer when paired with a jacket, the Callaghan is a versatile jersey, perfect for fresh road rides or off-season singletrack.

A top of two halves, the Callaghan’s interior is made from merino wool, and the exterior, a wear-resistant polyester. Blending the warmth, odor resistance and temperature regulation of merino with a synthetic outer allows the Callaghan to wick faster, and better resist the rough and tumble that comes with roadside tube changes and forest fly-bys.

Tailored with reassuringly high neck, and trimmed with an easy-pull full-length zipper, the Callaghan includes two deep, angled rear pockets, detailed with internal sleeves to safely secure your phone, and headphone ports for routing cables. Reflective details complete the top.

  • Merino Wool Poly Blend (with a brushed backer for warmth)

  1. The Callaghan strikes a balance between performance, warmth and comfort. In fact, it’s the antithesis of the old school wool jersey.

  1. PNEW

    Punches above its weight

I didn't think this jersey would keep me warm on first impression (given how light pliable it is) but I am happy to admit I was wrong. I have worn the Callaghan on 10+ Calgary area rides, ranging from 0 Celsius to 12 Celsius, and have been warm on each one. I have a merino base layer (long or ...

  2. JM

Exactly what I was looking for. Warm and light. And the pockets !
  3. Teodor M

My go-to from fall to spring

The material in the Callaghan is fantastic. Usually my merino stuff feels heavy and wet when I sweat, but this blend is the perfect mix of warm and well performing. My only problem with this jersey is that when using the back pockets the stuff usually snags on the inner pocket. I dealt with it by ...

  4. Rich

    Just the thing

First sizing; I am 6' and 170 lbs. chart says M, but for my thin frame I have wide shoulders and long arms, based upon another reviewer of similar build I went with the Large. Glad I did! Large fits perfectly! I wanted something that kept my arms warm at cooler temps (for me that is 50s and ...

  5. hrw

    perfect product

I struggle to find bike wear that fits me well - I'm tall (6'2), skinny (175lbs) and have wide shoulders and long arms. This, in large, is ideal for me - not skin tight, no sag in the front when I'm in the drops, lots of stretch, perfect length. Wear this with a merino base in Pacific ...

    Comfy and versatile

I rarely write product reviews but this jersey absolutely rocks so I thought I'd share the info so others can enjoy this super cozy and versatile jersey. I got this at Christmas to replace my 10 year old Sugoi winter jersey and it is like night and day. This thing is cozy when you put it on ...

  7. Graham

    Love it

Keeps you warm on those cold damp mornings.
  8. David

    Super versetile

Best cold weather bike jersey I could imagine.
  9. Jim

    Versatility x10

Fantastic cold season jersey. Easily paired up with a jacket or vest for added wind resistance. The front panels do a pretty good at blocking enough wind on the downhills and of course the merino magic handles everything else. Sizing is true. Another gem from the gang at 7m.
  10. Peter

    Super comfortable

My go-to jersey for winter riding. The combination of merino with synthetic makes it a super soft and warm jersey that never looses shape, and wicks sweat very well. Usually carry a 7mesh vest in the back pocket for when it gets even cooler at the end of the day, I have a long downhill, or it gets a ...

Super comfy. Wicks moisture like no other

While riding this bit of kit on a recent gravel ride with climbs in excess of 10% during a rain, sleet then snow kind of day, I knew this piece would now be my ‘go-to’ base layer. In fact, after using it multiple times now, I ordered a second one. Other brands, I would typically sweat out during ...

  12. Sean

Perfect winter jersey esp with 7mesh jackets

Great feel and fit. I wear it with no base layer because of that awesome merino lining. I pair it with the Rebellion for really wet conditions and the Corsa for when it's dry/light moisture and cold. So far 1-10C range with those outer layers and it's great combo. I get pretty sweaty and ...

  13. Loran

My new favourite cold weather jersey

I wear this jersey on almost every ride below 10 degrees, whether it's road biking or fat biking.
  14. Brian

    Warm and versatile

I used to use mostly short sleeve jerseys with base layers and/or arm warmers in cold months, but once you've used great long sleeve jersey it's hard to go back. I've used this as my outer layer on a 10+C day, with a vest when it gets a bit cooler, and underneath a jacket when even ...

  15. Toby

Perfect for "warm" winter days in Nebraska

Rode the last two days with this on. Temp from 38-48 F and wind 7-10 mph. Ride speed average 17. I was amazed at the wind stopping ability and overall warmth without getting wet. My heart rate was about 135 average so I was working real hard, but any moisture I did make was wicked away. The cut on ...
