I've had other lite weight jackets from 7mesh. They're all still in the rotation depending on the weather. But what I like about this new Mission Jacket, are the 3 rear pockets. I'm using this jacket for so-so weather, in 3C to 15C temperatures. I can fit a vest (incase it gets too cold) in the middle pocket, my glasses and phone in the right pocket and snacks in the left. Bonus about this jacket, if it warms up, the jackets folds up and fit into my middle jersey pack, along w/ my vest, without noticing to much bulk.

I like this jacket.

After 6:30 h ride still dry, so far so good. Def recommend.

Simply the best

Small enough to always have with you in case the weather gets wet and windy. Two way zip is great.

Light and compact

This jacket has been amazing. Incredibly light. Great for starting the morning in the shoulder seasons, and folds up easily into a pocket. Blocks wind very well when going downhill while not being too insulating. I have been surprised how many different uses this has ben great for. Very happy with this purchase!

Picked up the Mission jacket and took it for a few rides. My go-to for years was the Oro Shakedry, so I needed a solid replacement—and the Mission delivers. Soft, breathable, and PFAS-free, its waterproof fabric seals out the elements with taped seams and a two-way watertight zipper for quick heat release. The rear vent and stretchy cuffs add comfort without sacrificing aerodynamics. Unlike most lightweight shells, it has a unique three-pocket system and a StashSystem pocket for extra storage.
