Men's Seton Vest | Men's Thermal Biking Vest - 7mesh

Designed to sit slightly off the body, Trim Fit products provide some room for light layering and feature mechanical (fabric) stretch or elastane, combined with articulated patterns.

Trim Fit

I own a couple decent gilets and really looked around before ordering the Seton Vest. So many gilets come with no pockets, which is a crime. This one has an incredibly useful pocket layout and provides a lot of warmth. The fit and finish are 5-star worthy without a doubt. (I'm 182 cm tall, 74 kg, 94 cm chest and an happy with size small.)

The best of the vest

Our cycling club embarked on a quest for the ultimate cycling gear, and lo and behold, we stumbled upon these magnificent vests! 
As a rider with a bit more to love around the waist and chest area, the stretchiness was a godsend—it hugged all the right curves without feeling restrictive. And the wind-blocking power? Let's just say it turned breezy rides into smooth sailing adventures. 

 Needless to say, every cent spent felt like a high-five to my wallet

Truly an incredible piece of kit

We are experiencing a pretty mild winter this year in Switzerland. This vest has been my favorite piece of clothing in these conditions (between 5-10 degrees). It completely blocks the wind while balancing my body temp. The stretchy fabric offers a lot of flexibility and comfort in all positions on my bike. It`s pretty versatile and thanks to it`s stretch ability and decent look you can wear it on the road as well as on your MTB. Versatility is always appreciated, if you invest so much money on a product.

This is the fourth product of 7mesh I purchased. I ordered this vest in the same size as the previous items and it fits nice and snug ... not too tight around the neck. 
Small but very sweet detail: 
The fluffy fabric on the collar has a very pleasant feel on your skin.

If there was one thing I would ask for ... it would be a two way zipper.

Comfy & Technical Companion

I've got a lot of different vests but this is my favorite, by far. The fabric is really nice, blocking enough wind on the front face while being cozy warm on the inside face. The fit is trim. I'm usually a M in most brands, including 7Mesh's MTB styles, but a L is perfect for this trim fit. The back pockets are well placed and super useful. I love having standard rear pockets for things I need to access frequently as well as zip pockets for valuables. This vest is so comfortable and useful that I find myself wearing it off bike as well. Great job on this one!

Incredible vest!

Nice piece. Very cozy. I’m a medium top in almost everything but like some other 7mesh pieces I have to size down. Also worth noting that it doesn’t pack down all that well, making me wish I’d bought the jacket instead. This would benefit from a stuffable pocket and straps to attach to bike. Also, wish it had a double zipper…

Cozy. Appreciate the pockets. Size down

Wore this for the first time on a wet and windy ride. Had a mechanical at 55 km and had to warm up again after. Even though I was soaked, I was able to warm up again thanks to this vest. And it mostly dried itself over the next 50 km. Love the functionality of the pockets and the fit is spot on.

Stopped me from giving up

Bought this for my husband and he loves it, great quality, quick delivery and so stylish. He gets great use of it.

Great vest

The material is warm and soft but still breathable. Perfect to wear over a short sleeve jersey on cooler days, but not cold enough to warrant an even warmer jacket like the Freeflow. I normally pair my Seton vest with arm warmers. Because it’s so breathable it is definitely a keep on layer, however in a pinch you can just about squeeze it into a jersey pocket if you roll it up.
The material has a little stretch which makes it incredibly comfortable, and more forgiving in size - great if you overindulge at the cafe stop! I bought my normal 7mesh size which fits perfectly.

Warm and comfortable

Very comfortable material. Comfortable cut that does not restrict movement and can be used in combination with a slightly looser jersey. The vest is quite warm. The only thing I would have liked is a two-way zipper. Otherwise perfect. I like it.

Very comfortable and functional vest for colder weather.

The Seton Vest is what I've been wearing when temperatures vary throughout the day. On my last 100km gravel ride, I wore the Seton Vest over the Synergy jersey with temperatures that started around 11.1-16.5°C. The Seton vest kept me comfortable throughout the ride while providing enough storage to stash an extra rain jacket, food and my phone.
