The ultimate short for foul weather mountain biking, built with fully taped GORE-TEX® for bulletproof durability, water protection and breathability.

Have a question? We'd love to hear about your next adventure.

Designed to perform in the very worst conditions on the trail thanks to its best-in-class GORE-TEX® 3L fabric, the Revo Short is patterned for the riding position, with a unique construction on the crotch that moves seams to the side for comfort, matched with a cleverly articulated shape that allows for more freedom of movement, without hanging low when you’re out of the saddle. At the knee, scalloped leg openings that go longer in front add extra protection while still accommodating pads. Integrated low profile waist adjusters with belt loops for riders who prefer a belt and front hand pockets for easy access to smaller items come together to complete the short.

    Great for those rainy days

These are great for the muddy rainy days. I really like the amount of room for knee pads and they are long enough to cover most of my legs
  2. Chad

Excellent quality and performance, tough to fit

I love how hard wearing, light and waterproof these shorts are. The quality is excellent. The fit however kind of ruins them for me. I fall between medium and large with hips at 40”and thigh at 25”but I am 5’8”tall and have a 30”inseam.

  3. pat

great build, great cut, keep you dry, comfortable to pedal in; very impressed!

When I first heard of waterproof shorts I was skeptical. However, I bought a pair about 5 years ago for an off-road stage-race for which rain was forecast. Since then I would consider waterproof shorts an essential part of my cycling gear; I’ve even used them on road rides to prevent that gritty, ...

    Best foul weather shorts

As i received the shorts i was a little skeptical about the length of the shorts. Standing in front of the mirror and thinking that these looks on me like the 3/4 pants of my grandfather, but as i sit on my bike they are awesome. The knees are covered, and thats great in the rain. Love the shorts ...

Great Shorts that keep you dry

Was that impressed with the revelation jacket I purchased the Revo shorts and glad I did!! Great fit (bit weird at first) but they do exactly what they say on the tin! Keep me dry and the harsh UK winter at bay! Highly recommended

The most Essential piece of kit

The greatest thing I’ve ever bought. Forgot what a dry ass felt like!
  7. Jaydeep

These shorts are top notch...just like all the other 7mesh items I have! Perfectly made - length, material, look, feel and practicality. They totally stop the wind while riding, both at your seat and just below your knee. I have not tested them yet in the rain but I know the Goretex fabric will ...

    Ambassador Favorite

I was skeptical about non-stretch pants but after having them for a year they are my go to winter and shoulder season kit. I look forward to shredding muddy days in the saddle and having a dry butt and briefs on and not deal with swamp ass on the way the ride home. Hose them off and they are ready ...

    Nicely made shorts

Nicely made shorts with long legs and a good construction, made with Gore-Tex Active.

Great short for riding in the rain

As a MTB guide/coach, a pair of waterproof short is a must and the Revo short is a great option to keep your butt dry all day long. At first, I found them rather long as they fit almost like a 3/4 pant on me (I'm a size small), however, that works well to keep your thighs covered through the ...

  11. Mitchell

    Dry and comfortable

Have had a few rides in them now and they've kept my backside dry and comfortable despite water and mud kicking up behind. Easy to wash if after and comfortable over knee pads. Almost don't know your wearing them. I would like the zip side pocket on them for my phone but I'll keep it ...

  12. Primož

Does what it has to do - keep you comfortable

I have used this shorts for the whole winter, but doing Trans Madeira with torrential rain on day 2 was made much more enjoyable witht he use of a Skypilot jacket and Revo shorts. After hours of standing in the rain, with water gushing from the shoes on every pedal stroke, I was still comfortable in ...

    Protection from the elements

Great shorts! Exactly what I was looking for in a short that keeps my dry and blocks the winter wind chill. Fit is great as the shorts go down to just over the knee. I am a mountain biker/gravel biker and I wear these over cycling tights in the winter for some extra protection in the winter. They ...

  14. Yapo

    Revo shorts

Never thought I’d need waterproof shorts in BC before. Since I tried the Revo shorts, I wonder how I survived without them! Great fit, and lightweight. Great shorts all around.
  15. Tobi

    No excuses anymore

Best waterproof short ever! There is no overheating during crosscountry rides and with a lot of climbing. It’s waterproof even when cleaning it after riding with a jet of water.
  16. Yannick

    Comfortable shorts

Nice and breathable in the right climate a ride with those shorts often in temperature around 8° or below and wet ground or light rain also would consider using them in colder weather on a gravel bike my only issue is the shorts are too wide at the bottom in Tennessee to catch on my pump that’s ...

  17. Stoney

Awesome shorts - far exceeded expectations

Purchased these after reading online reviews but thought I'd just use them on the wettest days. After wearing them throughout October and November, they're my go-to shorts even when it's just a bit damp.

  18. Dana

For the past few years I've been looking for something to keep me reasonably dry while on bikepacking adventures and exploring local trails but wouldn't have me overheating. Regular rain paints are bulky and overkill. The closest I could find but never purchased was Shower Pass convertible ...

  19. Khai

    Best waterproof shorts ever

A few years ago my wife bought me a pair of Glidepath shorts that have become my go-to favourtites to the point where I'll choose an "only somewhat dirty" pair over a fresh pair of other shorts that seem to just be taking up space in my drawer now. I've also got several pair of ...

    Great Short

These shorts were a great investment! My last pair of waterproof shorts did not breath like these do. I am able to stay warm and dry in this wet fall weather riding.
  21. Dave

Light weight, well cut and keep out the grot

These shorts came highly recommended and I can see why. Well thought out features such as the in built belt and loops to fit your own and legs cut to stop your knees from getting wet mean they will likely be my go-to short for wet rides. I can easily get knee pads under/in the bottom of them and ...

    Weather Armour

These are the sort of waterproof shorts that make you want to go out in the rain and be a better person than the people that bottled it.
  23. John

    Close to perfect.

Absolutely love them, great fit on the bike. Longer then I expected but that worked out great. Use them on trail rides and on my commute and walking the dog.
  24. Ben

Great snowy/rainy short for over kneepads

Awesome short for winter riding the PNW. Fits well over bibs or tights and also over kneepads. For riding in the rainy slop these are the best. Only thing I'd add would be a secure pocket for phone.
  25. Josh

Best rain shorts to this date.

These shorts are a great addition to any rain gear setup, mine being paired with the Revelation Jacket. They keep you dry at all temps, the almost 3/4 length gives you great coverage and breathability in warm temps, for cooler temps I layer them over tights or knee high wool sock. A must to have for ...

  26. Tom

    Winter? What winter?

These are the bees knees when it's wet out. 3 winters on mine and they still look and perform like new - slight discolouration from ground in dirt from the saddle but they're still going strong! The water repellency of these shorts is second to none and the fit is great too. If you ride ...

  27. Andrew

Holy cow, my butt was dry

Tried these in a downpour cyclocross event that was really muddy. I was more comfortable than I've ever been in such conditions. They do feel like a thin Gore-Tex jacket so I probably wouldn't wear them in light rain but if I know I'm going to get soaked from rain or puddles, ...

    Top Notch Kit

Sizing was a tad small on L for 36"waist or maybe wishful thinking on my part!

  29. Byron

Excellent foul weather shorts. Living on Canada's west coast means you need top quality rain gear, and these shorts are the best. Great for commuting, riding trails, or to the coffee shop. Well worth the money, if you're not a fair-weather rider.
  30. Mike

    The Best Shorts - Period

OK, they look like shorts what? Try riding a trail in the rain with standing water every 50m. Externally you are soaked. You finish your ride and realise that you are as dry as a bone; fantastic. Home and a quick wash and the shorts are ready to go again. These shorts are so good, I wonder ...

  31. Arn

    Awesome wet weather shorts

Awesome in the rain and breathes very well. These shorts do run big: I am normally a medium, but I had to get a small for these. They are relatively long, so they cover the top part of my knee pads. Pricey, but would definitely buy them again!
  32. Geoff

Indispensable when the weather gets tough

The weather report was grim for a 3 day Chilcotin trip: snow or rain, every day. Perfect conditions to test out a new pair of Recon shorts. The weather delivered: up to 10 cm's of snow, rain, and more water than dirt on the trails. Revo shorts paired with the Revelation jacket matched the ...

  33. calhountador

Hands down, best gear investment in the past 12 months...

I ride in the rain... A LOT! For years it has been a struggle to find a legitimate rain short that fits. One that was the actual correct length and allowed you to adjust the waist on the trail without having to wear your belt from college that your wife hates. The Revo short has been the single best ...

  34. kiwi peddling

Hard to imagine winter riding without these.

The Revo Shorts have become an essential part of my winter riding. Fit and range of movement are great. Staying warm and dry definitely adds to the amount of time you can stay out on those rainy days.
