Product Reviews

  1. Nicholas

    Perfect leg helper

I run hot, so I don't need these often. But when I start in the cold, or the rain gets too much to bear, these are so welcome and perfect. And I always have them, because they pack down so well!
  2. Lucas

    Best backup

Super clever backup for multi day gravel tours with chilly mornings or cold rain. Very small when packed and light.
  3. David

    Great cool weather tights

I agree with both Kevin and Trevor's reviews. These are great for 0 to 10c, even in damp conditions, they are lightweight and no hassles with sliding down or bunching up.
  4. Leon

    Great for cool weather

Taking my first cool weather ride with these tights confirmed everything I read about them. They are well made, good fit and kept the cool weather comfortable for an extended ride. They are so light that I'm sure they will fit very nicely in a pocket when not needed.
  5. Kevin

    Great fit and performance

I will no longer mess with leg warmers that creep down and need to be adjusted while riding. These tights take a little bit to get on a have properly aligned, but once they are on, you never think about them. They don’t shift or bulk up at the knee.

  6. Trevor

    Best tights for the price!

These tights fit great and aren’t to warm or restrictive. Ideal for 0 - 10 degrees. Pulls over the shorts and looks great.
  7. Ellison

    Best tights EVER!

All I have to say is that if you don't already own a pair...I'd recommend getting two. Was recommended these by a friend who has been riding 7mesh gear for a few seasons now. I was in the market for something lightweight, could multi-purpose as running tights, base layer for skiing, and ...

  8. RealtorTechGuy

    Great Fit

Have not had the chance to ride in them just yet. But fit well, great design, quality feel product.
  9. Reto

    great fit, but...

The fit around the legs really is fantastic, no bunching up of the fabric in the back of the knee. I am 194cm and wearing an XL. I used the Seymour tights on several gravel rides, around 60km as well as on daily commutes, with the temperature being between 0C and 4C. Which is probably the limit, at ...

  10. Dev

    Warm and Practical

It took a bit of faffing around to get the tights on without bunching and rolling up the MK3 bib shorts underneath them, but I wouldn't fault 7mesh in that regard. Once on though, they were comfortable and far warmer than expected. Certainly worth the effort. Great way to keep using non-thermal ...

  11. Stéphane

    More than leg warmers

It is hard to believe that it will fit (looks so small) but it does (same size as bib). Stretchy, snug but not uncomfortable. Great complement to my MK3 bib short. I used it around temperature from 0C to 15C. It is getting warm above 10C but it is perfect below. I used it also on a bikepacking trip ...

  12. david

    Great product, misleading sizing

I do like the product in terms of weight of fabric, construction etc.. HOWEVER...

  13. JayDee

    Better than leg warmers

Tights over summer weight bib shorts, what a great solution for cold weather rides. No need for thermo bib shorts and more comfortable than leg or knee warmers that tend to constrict the thighs. The Seymours are so light and comfy I barely notice that I have them on. No bunching behind the knees ...

  14. NICK

    Size up for bigger thighs!

Went for size small as it matched my waist measurements, although the material is very stretchy they did come up a bit small. The waist can ‘dig in’ slightly if not positioned correctly and the thighs area goes a bit see through from the extra stretching, this upsets me the most! I’m not sure ...

  15. Stef

    Very good.

I use them for road biking, mountain biking and even running they work pretty well at keeping me warm but not too warm. They are very stretchy, comfy and light to wear. Great over my summer chamois when on the road or under my shorts when mountain biking or running. Good quality, keep in mind they ...

  16. Lauren

    Great quality, quick delivery.
  17. Cvachi

    Great product!

They are very stretchy, comfy and light to wear. Great over summer bib thights or under Thunder pants as a layer. Super quality, very tight fit but comfortable, nice reflexing details. Great buy of assential autumn/winter and spring riding.
  18. Nick

    Great piece of cycling clothing

Firstly let me say, be comfortable to buy a size smaller than usual. Normally an L at 6ft2in and 170 lbs, I went with M and it is a great fit. The inseam is independent of size and the length is good. Fit is tight as in tights! It does what it promises. Goes well over bibpants in cooler weather and ...

  19. Paul

    Tights that fit the bill

Great purchase. Much better then leg warmers. Wore first time on a long ride of 40 + miles that started chilly. Kept my entire lower half nice and warm until temp warmed up into upper 50’s. Recommend very highly.
  20. Raymond

    Quality, comfortable tights

These are remarkably stretchy and comfortable for such a minimalist piece of kit. They fill a niche for me between 8 and 15 degrees Celsius. I’m long and lean and prone to injuring knees and calves if not covered and these do the trick in this temperature range. Also easy to store if you need to ...

  21. West Coast William

    Incredible 3-season piece

I am not sure what wizard cast a spell over the machine that weaves the fabric of these tights, but they are incomprehensibly wind and water resistant given how light they are. I've tried everything from full Goretex pants to winter bib-tights through leg and knee warmers from at least 6 ...

  22. Matthias

    3-Season Essential Gear

I love these tights. They are so utilizing in Spring / Autumn while starting in the early morning / finishing in the late evening (light & warm / small packable & stowable) . A few days ago I started a ~200km tour at approx 5am, and the temps where freezing cold in the valleys - only ...

  23. Peter

So much better than knee warmers

These things are a godsend. I do not understand why other brands don't make this. As another user said, these are filling a rel void in the market. Because they cover your full legs, including your hip and crotch area, they keep you warm so much better when the temperature goes down than knee ...

  24. Stephen

Nice tights but not as good as I expected

Purchased these after a ride in the cold rain after the snow that Vancouver had in January. I was wearing typical leg warmers (4-5 years old) and they tend to slip down the thighs unless I get a bit of 'sweat' happening.

  25. Stef

The one essential you did not know you needed

Honestly, this product has been a great surprise. It’s the one essential item in your wardrobe that you did not know you absolutely needed. Of course I have used leg warmers over the years, but this product from 7mesh is way easier to use, more protective and super practical. Another winner :)
  26. Evan

    Functional and compact tight

I've enjoyed using these tights - wore them everyday on a week long bike tour around Cape Breton in the Fall and they were very capable as a mid-weight tight.

  27. Derek

    A rare find

7mesh is to be commended for filling a real void in the cycling world - tights that are just that, tights. Not bib tights with a cycling pad... just tights. Sometimes you just want a light layer you can put on over your bib shorts to cut the wind or keep the dampness out. Great product, fits snug ...

  28. Steph Vleesh

A discrete friend always there to rescue you by cold or bad weather

As a Belgian bike commuter, I'm used to changing weather and serious temperature differences between early morning and evening. Seymour (the tights) is easy to take with me in a rear pocket and to pull on to face challenging conditions. It suits perfectly above the bib short and is far more ...
