Made for rides that start and stay cool, the Callaghan Merino Jersey is our luxuriously comfortable, mid-weight, 3-season long sleeve jersey.

Description

Worn on its own, with a base layer, or as a mid-layer when paired with a jacket, the Callaghan is a versatile jersey, perfect for fresh road rides or off-season singletrack.

A top of two halves, the Callaghan’s interior is made from merino wool, and the exterior, a wear-resistant polyester. Blending the warmth, odor resistance and temperature regulation of merino with a synthetic outer allows the Callaghan to wick faster, and better resist the rough and tumble that comes with roadside tube changes and forest fly-bys.

Tailored with reassuringly high neck, and trimmed with an easy-pull full-length zipper, the Callaghan includes two deep, angled rear pockets, detailed with internal sleeves to safely secure your phone, and headphone ports for routing cables. Reflective details complete the top.

  1. Nice warm jersey. Great mid layer. Tight sleeves and difficult to access inner pockets.

It fits reasonably well although sizing is a bit on the small side and the sleeves are quite tight, it would be nice if they were roomy enough to get some elbow pads underneath for winter riding. It's nice and warm as a mid layer. The the inner mesh pockets are difficult to get things in and ...

  2. Great West Coast jersey

The Callaghan is my go to winter layer jersey. I wear a long sleeve base later and an insulated gilet most of the time until it drops below 8. Then I wear a shell. Perfect. The Callaghan fits really well (great seams on the arms for movement) and has a slightly high neck. Love it.

  3. Well worth the cost.

This is a wonderfully soft feeling jersey. Just putting it on makes you feel warmer. Moisture management is very good, which is good for me as I can work up a sweat just looking at my bike. The fit is great. Very comfortable when in a "on the bike" position with sufficient stretch to ...

  4. Fantastic jersey

This is far and away the best long-sleeve jersey I've come across. Excellent wicking and heat management properties. Warm and dry on long ascents. Highly recommend. This is my first experience with 7mesh clothing and it won't be the last! Size Large fit me well. I'm 6 foot 175 lbs.

  5. Fantastic, if a bit short

I purchased this to keep me warm on those chillier Finnish nights in autumn and spring and to layer with on those really cold winter days. The fabric is soft and stretchy, the cut and patterning is fantastic and the small details like the reflectors are a great touch. I especially love the ...

  6. Beautiful, though not yet tested

Looks and feels great, nice colour and excellent fit. Seems to be really warm and that's why I couldn't really try it out yet. Temperatures of 20+ C in mid October - hello global warming.

  7. Nice jersey for fall riding

I've used this Jersey 5 times now. The first couple times was mountain biking with temps from 0C to -4C. I layered a thin merino shirt under this Jersey and had a weather resistant layer on the outside. I did get a little sweaty riding up the hills but stayed warm on the downs. This was ...

  9. A versatile and lovely jersey

Our club often goes out for early morning fall rides that start cool and can warm up by as much as 10 degrees. The Callaghan is up to the swing, keeping me warm when I need it and cooling me off when I don't. Big fan. And, the blue colour is stunning.
